Red Haven Peach Tree

Fruited on first year

I replaced a sickly apple tree with this red Haven and thought I'd need to wait a year or two to sample it. The tree seemed to thrive in its new spot. I added a cattle cage to keep deer away and didn't even need to prune as it already took an open center shape with symmetrical branches at about 3ft high. And to my surprise, I got 5 peaches about 5mo later with no spraying and minimal pest damage.

Received healthy (large and bushy) and they are doing very well, will be planting in the fall. When received I did place them in new larger pots and all are producing new growth.

My tree came and looked healthy when I planted it. I already had a couple peaches grown and I picked them today. I am very happy with my tree and this is the first growing season. Very impressed!
