Rather than a burst of fresh citrus sitting on top of soft woods, the Parfum feels like every ingredient has been seamlessly woven together.
The opening immediately evokes standing on a rugged coastline as waves crash against the rocks and a cool ocean breeze carries the scent of citrus trees growing nearby. Lavender, rosemary and thyme add an aromatic freshness that feels incredibly natural, while the citrus never comes across as sharp or synthetic.
As the fragrance develops, the floral heart becomes noticeably more restrained than in the Eau de Parfum. One of the most common observations from those familiar with both versions is that the Parfum tones down the floral aspects, allowing the aromatic herbs, woods and citrus to take centre stage.
