Del Sol

Very happy!

I had been on the fence about giving the Del Sol a try for a while, I’m happy I did! I am very happy with the setup out of the box, I recently purchased a 7 string that was nearly twice the price of the Del Sol and the Del Sol was set up dramatically better!! I’m not 100% sure how I feel about the gold foil pickups yet, but they do sound nice and I think they fit the guitar pretty well!(im a bit more of a high gain player, so it’s not the pickups, its me) Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and will be going for a baritone Del Sol when I have some more $ saved up!

Incredible value!

My Del Sol is a seriously beautiful guitar. The finishes are stunning, the hardware is an absolute steal for what you’re paying, and the neck feel is just really well thought out. For the value, this is a five out of five all day. Now, mine showed up with a hole in the box, which might have contributed to what I found when I opened it. I ended up with fret burrs, intonation that’s pretty rough in certain spots, and action that needs work. Could be a shipping thing, could be QC—honestly not sure. Most guitars come with maybe one of these issues, not all three. So I’m not blaming Orangewood here, but if you get one of these, just know there’s a solid chance you’ll need a professional setup before you gig with it. The guitar itself though? Really well made.
