A little bummed out that the formula was maybe tweaked since the last time I purchased. Substance is gummier compared to previous version. Doesn’t quite have the same spreadability (is that a word? Not sure) over my hair. Hold is slightly weaker but that’s not too much of an issue for me. Will probably keep buying, but remain disappointed that something is different.

Works good. Noticeable scent of Shea Butter more than anything. Dries the hair out a tad. The hold is a weak medium. Overall it’s worth trying if you’re thinking about it.

Great Hair Clay
I switched to Hardworking Gentlemen a couple of years ago. Using mainstream products was contributing to bad hair health and loss. Since using HWG, my hair loss has halted and even regenerated. In addition to the health benefit, I love the more natural look and feel of my hair with this product.
