Amazing lore for these monsters

The artwork was pretty great. The monsters, also pretty great. But the best part is the lore behind each of the monsters. Having them be powered by the souls of those they deem subhuman is diabolical and paints a vivid picture of a world in which these machines and their makers would need to be defeated. Excellent story telling without actually writing a story. Gonna use this in an upcoming campaign.
