They grew amazingly this first year

They all came up!

I should have planted asparagus years and years ago, but for some reason I dragged my feet about it. I planted these crowns and they all came up - feathery ferns have been growing and doing well all summer. I anticipate getting some spears next spring!

Asparagus millennium

Was thrilled to get these healthy 2 year asparagus roots this spring. They got planted quickly due to the weather but still 29 of 30 came up and are looking great. We have only eaten several of the largest spears but are looking forward to a true feast next spring. Thank you.
