Alex Classic replaced Standard Strat pickups and took the Sounds on a much higher Level. It's breathtaking to have real vintage tone without any Neiße or hum.

Tonerider Apex Classic .. just Fabulous Tone ... I finally found what I was searching for

I have had silent pickups in my Stratocaster for a many years now . They were the " side by side" style coil set ups .. and they ARE quiet for sure . However recently I kept feeling that maybe I was missing out on the true single coil sound and tone .... but I really did not want any associated background noise , 60 cycle hum and more . I then saw a YouTube Video by Paul @ Studio Rats .. who at the very start announced that he did NOT like any Noiseless Single Coil Pickups . I watch much of Paul's videos , and really respect that he has a great ear for all things guitar , and so I stayed with his Video on the Tonerider Apex Classics. HE WAS CONVERTED , and raved about the Tonerider Apex Classics. SO I invested in a set and can honestly say they are a massive improvement over what I had previously , the sound is exactly what I was looking for , and the tone is wonderful . They are also extremely quiet even with drive pedals running . I would encourage anyone suffering from hum and buzz from their single coil to invest in these superb pickups. I have since watched Shane @ In The Blue , also praising the Apex Classics over his other silent coil choices , and also has videos of himself gigging in a " electrically noisy " venues ... Just fantastic Pickups and I cannot recommend these enough

Was a bit sceptical regarding “noiseless” after previous experience with other brands, but based on positive reviews I took the leap…very pleased I did, these truly are as advertised, very much a true single coil Strat tone…thought the high end might have been very slightly rolled off at first, but after comparing to my other strays here, each is slightly up or down, and I heard no discernible difference between these and my custom shops, other than anywhere from slightly quieter to a “lot” quieter, depending on the guitar…and again, retaining that traditional Strat tone, quack, bell-like (insert your own) here. Happy customer, would, and likely will, buy again.
