I have a quarter-size gap in my boots, not enough to size down, but enough to cause real problems. Every step I was gripping with my toes to stabilize the boot, and after about 3 months the tendons on top of my foot were noticeably strained. I tried two other volume reducers before this one, both were just slightly too thick and created a different fit problem. The Propa Snow Volume Reducer hit the right thickness. I’m a 13.5 Wide and didn’t need to trim them at all, they dropped right in. The result was noticeable: top-of-foot pain gone after a weeks wear, noticeably more stable stride, and no more sliding around inside the boot when just standing. If you’re chasing a subtle fit issue, not a dramatic size mismatch, just that annoying quarter-size slip that throws off your whole gait, this is the fix.

Perfect For Volume Reduction in Ski Boots!

Love these! I have had a lot of trauma on my left foot so I have to buy High Volume ski boots. Now my right foot is normal and only needs a Mid Volume ski boot. However, I cannot seem to find a manufacturer that is willing to sell me a HV left boot and a MV right boot......... ;) So I use these volume reducers in my right boots and it works out perfectly.
