I have grown Lemon Gem many times; and I especially like them in pots with other flowers. They usually top out at about 12"-14", but occasionally will reach 16". For this reason, I place them in the back of a pot. They look very nice with Johnny Jump Ups and other violas. They keep producing flowers all summer, even without deadheading. Eventually they set seed; but not until early fall, at least.

Lemon Gem Marigolds Are Aptly Named

These are beautiful plants with dainty foliage and loads of petite flowers. Plants are easy to start from seed. The seeds are tiny, so cover them lightly with potting mix or soil.
