So far so good. Part way in I found a faulty piece which is being replaced due to the very quick and helpful Pauline. When I receive the piece and complete the model I can submit more. Thanks for filling a glaring hole in brick building. Your models look great and I hope to build more in the not too distant future. :P

I am very pleased with the result, it was little tricky in parts but I triumphed in the end.

I bought the Spitfire, drawn by the description that said “All the designs are printed right on the bricks, no stickers needed.” As one thing I really don’t like about genuine LEGO sets is the silly little stickers you have to apply. The Spitfire was sent from China, arrived in a bag with Chinese instructions - and a set of stickers. Ten stickers in fact. According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I’m entitled to return for a full refund as the product is not as described - which it isn't. This was declined. Now for the set. The colours in the instruction manual are hard to see in places, meaning occasionally I used the wrong bricks. The green on the nose cone is a different green to the green bricks and doesn’t match. The wings, during build, were flimsy and repeatedly fell apart. Some of the bricks don’t sit flat making the underside of the wings appear untidy. The little red grommets are a pig to push into the bricks. The Spitfire wobbles on the flimsy stand.
