Algae Klear Xtra

This worked very well to clear an overgrowth of algae that plagued my pond this spring. I used it carefully according to the instructions, needed two doses over a couple of weeks but it did the job, my three 10 year old koi could see where they were swimming again and I was happy with the result. I did use Sludge Clear as well, it all took a few weeks but it did work. Will buy again if necessary.

Alas this product has not cleared the algae

I think I need a stronger product to assist with my algae problem. I have treated the pond three times now and added bails of barley straw but alas to not affect. I remove the surface algae but within 10 days it is back.

Worked really well initially, but pond algae now proliferating again. Working on adding more plant cover. .
