Fantastic, reliable espresso. This is a great, well rounded, not too flowery, risk and delicious coffee that I have found to be fairly straight forward to dial in on a typical home machine and gives consistently good results.

Superb allrounder!

This is a great allrounder, having tried it as an espresso, flat white and french press... all are excellent. Not quite as "chocolatey" and bold as some Brazilians (which it says in the desription), it's more nutty with a well rounded, sweet fruitiness. It's lowish on the acidity front with very little bitterness and super smooth but still has the body to punch through when having it with milk... Will definitely be on the repeat order list...(really interesting back story to the sail ship too)

I have been buying the sail shop coffee for a while now. I like the idea of its being brought to the UK by sail. I tend to go for dark roasted Italian style Arabicas.
