Upon opening the matcha package it had a subtle nutty and edamame smell! Once I had made it into a latte, the tasting notes revealed more of the nutty and creamy taste, it has a light umami taste with a gentle bitterness that doesn’t overpower the taste. It’s not astringent at all, and it tastes so nutty and delicious in a latte form! If you like a nutty, creamy matcha, this cultivar is for you!

It's just a bit of hassle to put the matcha powder into the tin. The matcha is good and up to my liking.
