Amazing in ear phones!
I was undecided on purchasing these for such a long time that now I have them I feel stupid for not getting them earlier. My previous pair were around £30-40 mark but pretty old and I can't remember the brand. I use a HiBy R5 DAP exclusively ATM. These just blew me away. Using the audiophile tips which shape themselves to your ear they are very comfortable even for long stints of listening. I didn't think that bass this good was possible with in ear phones. I'm enjoying music that I have listened to a hundred times before, picking up sounds that I never knew were there. I may well get the even better ones (Pro or Master?) at some point.

Detailed Production
Being a fan of music that has very detailed production I was keen to hear whether these earphones would affect how I heard my favourite tracks. I am pleased to say that these really helped me to hear new details in music that I have listened to numerous times before. Hearing the way that the instruments are placed in the stereo mix with no distortion has helped me to appreciate my well loved favourities in a different way. A great product.

Pretty good, with quibbles
The sound quality is very good. It's been quite a while since I owned top quality wired rather than bluetooth earphones so I can't do a direct comparison; these feel comparable rather than a technological leap.
They lose a couple of stars for:
- being wired, they suffer what seems to be the inevitable problem of the electrical sound of the cable brushing against your clothing etc. These are really not suitable for on-the-move listening, they are only for static, seated listening.
- it's very hard pushing on the ear pieces, they physically cannot go on as far as the instructions tell you they must go on, and get severely deformed trying (my son had the same experience with his)
I was also going to deduct a star for the terrible shipping serviceā16 days for a short hop across the Irish Sea!ābut that would be too much, these are not 2-star earphones. But they're not 5-star either.
