My favorite new Tool!

I’m inclined to say toy because it’s so much fun to be able to have clean, clear notes, beautifully formatted and amazingly interpreted, ready for me at the end of every conversation that I care to remember especially meetings, etc. There is so much that I have yet to discover with. Plaud.

Handy tool for meetings

This has been a very handy tool for capturing meeting notes. I like that you can change the format of the notes so you can get a detailed readout or just an executive summary or something in between.

Fantastic tool

I've had the Plaud Note Pro (PNP) long enough to record 3 or 4 zoom meetings and one phone call, totaling about 5 hours of recordings. So far the performance has been excellent with no major glitches in recording or transcription. The quality of the audio recordings is clearly good enough to make the transcriptions and summaries/notes nearly perfect. I have not had to go back and make any significant corrections, other than the spelling of odd names or strange words. Of course if the speaker slurs words or speaks in an odd cadence or phrasing, the PNP software can struggle with interpretation, but that's also true of human hearing. Overall I have found it to be a wonderful tool for my use as a consultant, where much of my work happens over zoom meetings and phone calls. I pay for 1200 minutes a month, which seems like it will be adequate for my purposes for the time being, but I would probably use the device more if I had more minutes. At the moment the cost to go to the next level is too high for my private use.
