Does not get text notifications and that is the one reason why I bought it. I would recommend to people that they don't get it cuz of the text messages.

Best compact light with many options , Super Bright , Being a Retired Detective from the NYPD EMERGENCY SERVICE UNIT ( NYPD SWAT TEAM ) for over 19 years I only wish these were around when I was knocking doors in on midnights..I recommended these lights to be used for the unit..you can never have enough light..and you can keep many of them on you in your Vest and Pockets !

Great little EDC flashlight!

Honestly wasn't sure about the light, as i've got a ton of them laying around, but I was blown away at the quality. It's super bright, compact, and the battery lasts a long time. I annoyed my wife with it by tuning on the leds and spun it like a fidget spinner.
