These are very high-quality splints. I wear the extended splint while sleeping which immobilizes the affected finger. This has completely eliminated the painful trigger finger "snaps" that used to wake me up when moving my hand. At first it seemed long and cumbersome, but I quickly got used to it. I opted not to scissor-off the extended strap length (read the instructions to know what I mean). When removing it in the morning, I have some stiffness from the immobilization, but it subsides quickly. I should mention that, during the day, I wear the small Trigger Finger splint. These splints have not yet eliminated my trigger finger condition, but have been highly effective in increasing movement without snaps, and have significantly decreased pain. They have made a world of difference. I recommend using both types of splints, and purchasing two of the smaller splints if you plan to work with them on. Although they're very durable and have taken lots of abuse, I imagine they will eventually wear out. Plus it's nice to have one to wear while the other is being washed and dried.

received item in quick order, did not fit as wife has small hand and fingers. however getting replacement for small hand. other sprint would have work great on my hand. well built and easy to put on and off. great support.
