The first time I saw a studio tote I was at a small boutique showing an out of town friend the charms of my hometown. When I entered the store I thought I had every handbag I could ever need. Then I saw and was struck by the beauty of the Studio Tote in the color mineral. I bought it even though it has no lining, organization or zipper closure . . (My minimal requirements for a purse until then) Now pouches separate the contents. The inner raw side of the leather is not slippery, things didn’t fly out when I stopped my car suddenly in a test to see if I could live with this no zipper handbag. It works for me. After I had the mineral colored tote for a week I decided to get a second color, ink, to wear with blue jeans, because it is so pretty in the pictures on the website. It is just as beautiful in person.
