Sweet!
I have enjoyed this wonderful sub in my system for several months. I like it very much. It delivers low, low bass when called upon to do so. The quality of the bass is superlative and it can blend in seamlessly with whatever type of music you care to play. I highly recommend it.

Good sub when it is working
I upgraded to SB-3000 from a ~$250 10-year-old V_____ sub of supposedly much lower quality. I'm not entirely sold on this being worth it to be honest. The old sub was ported and may have had a bit more extension and almost certainly a looser sound. I use the sub mainly for listening to music. Unfortunately I have one very annoying problem with the new sub which is that it does not turn on when set to "Auto/Standby" mode unless the volume is cranked up very loud, and then it suddenly pops on with a noticeable bass rumble and then I have to turn the level back down to a comfortable listening level. I am not sure if this is a normal feature of the Standby circuit but it seems like it should turn on at a much lower level of input if designed properly. When it is working the SB-3000 does sound extremely tight. At first I thought it was way too loud to be able to blend with the sound coming from my JBL 4312 control monitor main speakers. However, I found the app allows a high level of customization and I needed to set the crossover frequency much lower than expected to get it to sound right (like around 50Hz).

Second SB-3000 - wow.
I originally purchased a single SB-3000 for the theatre room. I decided to add a 2nd SB-3000 and retune Dirac. More uniform low end and it sounds amazing.
