Good concept, but needs fine tuning. The lip that holds the base in place isn't quite deep enough to actually hold it in place. The threaded adjustable supports back off really easily, so they stop actually supporting the knife. If the barrel nut was two pieces, you could adjust the height, then lock it in.

I like it a lot, it is stable, but sometimes íou have to reset the supports. Overall satisfied with the purchase, makes sharpening faster, and more precise. Would buy again.
