My kids and I LOVE these secret stories!! It makes me so happy to see them excited to find these secret stories all day long. The one thing I wish was different would be the size of the posters. I hung up the flashcards because my room simply does not have the space for 37 12.5x12.5 posters 😬 However, I have a side whiteboard we have been hanging our focus story on each day and as students find these secret stories in words, they write the words down under the secret story poster on the whiteboard and underline the story chunk of the word. I just wish I had the space for more than 5 at a time, but we can just keep going in a weekly cycle like this.

I love the song...I have used it every day since arriving. I wish I would have bought the smaller flashcard set since I work in a small space as a Title 1 teacher. Is there any way to exchange? I have not figured out how to use each story yet...still trying to wrap my head around it all.

My students are loving the stories and students who were unable to make connections to the sounds and rules are starting to get excited about reading.
