Lemon Cucumber

fun, delicious, and a little unruly

My plants arrived in good shape. this is my second year with these. I planted them where they get a good 6+ hours of sun a day. These are delicious if you pick them when they’re young. They do have a harder skin than other cucumbers but they are bright and hold up well. I do find their vines more unruly than other cucumber vines so you really have to pay attention when pinching the suckers and supporting the plant.

I thought I was ordering a transplant but got seed. I called and they offered a refund but I decided to try the seed even if it was late for Colorado. The seeds sprouted and are growing well. No sign of little cukes yet but it's the might of July so still maybe time.
