I have planted Floristan sun flowers every year for many years. What I like about this variety is that the plants are relatively short. Gold finches love to eat the green parts of the leaves, and squirrels love to eat the seeds. After doing my part to feed the neighborhood wildlife, I manage to bring a few blossoms inside as cut flowers. They are always beautiful and long-lasting
