I chose Nature Wise because i have a very sensative gut. I was taking raw science brand, but apparently they went out of business. They were GMO free, soy free and gluten free. I don't have a problem with gluten, but my gut is soy sensative, and hates GMO'S. I am apparently noy sensative to lactose, no otherbrand is free of all the things listed. Anytime i change brands, i have to ease the newbrand in, to see how my gut responds, and go from there. I also cannot take probiotics.
