Item broke in a couple weeks

I loved the item, its design is aesthetically pleasing and it generates low ozone that freshens my kitchen. My issue is when the item arrived there were many pieces that sounded like rattling inside the unit. I emailed customer service and they asked me to send a video of the rattling (lol what) but I did and they stated that loose bits rattling inside was normal. Fast forward a couple weeks and now the UV light at the bottom of the unit flickers off or on or half off/on, or just goes off completely unless you tap the side of the unit only for it to flicker a few more times before it decides to die again or stay on. I'm just not very impressed and I feel like I was sent a broken unit from the start and no one really cared to help.
