Really good pattern - easy to follow guides

A really good Chino trouser pattern with clear guides on the PDF download that can be selected for your particular size. I printed mine off onto A4 sheets, joining them as directed to make the full sized pattern layout - which was very easy to do! The instructions are well illustrated but maybe a bit brief for a novice sewer. However the YouTube video link was a great help for the tricky bits, and much appreciated. The difficult to follow bits for me were the zip alignment instructions, which seemed to be very different as shown in the video compared to the instructions. Also, the welt pockets on the back are really hard when it comes to creating neat corners. I made 2 versions and both edges frayed really badly and I could not get a neat finish. Maybe better to add iron-on interfacing to the fabric at the welt cut-outs. Overall though, the trousers were fantastic, and I plan to make a couple more as I refine the shape to fit my own particular body shape. Very satisfied customer!

Missing back rise instructions, zipper flap too narrow and doesn't get caught under the top stitching. Missing ease/finished garment size. Zipper instructions not clear.
