Spark 2 experience

The amp sounds and works as advertised so I’m happy about that. I mentioned some minor but disappointing cosmetic defects on a previous inquiry from Positive Grid but the report went unanswered. The amp gets 5 stars in my evaluation insofar as sound and function are concerned - better than the rollout model but not so much so that I would encourage someone owning the original to purchase the Spark 2. In my experience people who are disappointed by either fail to learn the nuances of tone shaping with the Spark. I own big name, expensive, well regarded amps that can do a few things well on their own, a few more with pedalboard arrangements, but nowhere near the versatility of the Spark - they’re just louder. I don’t care for the foot switch I bought though and wish I’d waited for the newer version. Best wishes

I've played this thing every single day since it arrived.

I feel like this Amp alone is responsible for the progressI've made in the short time that I've had this amp. It truly makes me want to plug in and play every single time I cross paths with it. So it's a self-control tool as well come to think of it. So there's that too. I've never had a piece of equipment that's aided so much in the progress I'm looking to make. Thank you positive grid. I'm just the tiniest bit sad that the original spark40 came with so many more extras. But this amp is nearly perfection, it does so much. It's wonderful and I couldn't be happier. I have a question or two, though. . . . . lol thanks again Positive grid

Bundle of joy

Im revisiting guitar years later after I sustained an injury to my hand, in doing so I discovered this smart amp. This thing is awesome! I love the fact that I can use the spark AI to create different tones to use and play with. I also love that I can bring it with me outside when I'm doing yard work and listen to music via my phone. The versatility with sims and tones in this day and age is amazing, back in the day I used a pod for those of you that remember those. The battery is a huge plus and keeps a good charge. I definitely would recommend this amp! One thing I would like is if the tattoo series grills to be released for the spark 2, hopefully this is something that will be done but if not PG does offer customized grills which I have been contemplating on getting.
