Spark 2 - My Thoughts and Experience
I have been using the Spark 2 for a month or so. Ordering was easy and delivery was very prompt, no complaints. Getting the Spark 2 going however was not quite as straight forward as YouTube reviews or instructions suggest but I got there in the end. All good. The apps and functions within the Spark 2 are above average with some better than others. Setting up patches and tones that can be achieved is a standout feature. A most disappointing issue was that a couple of days ago the unit would not turn on after having used it the night before. There was 20 VDC available at the power plug but noting would coax it to turn on. Reading some on-line advice indicated that a firmware upgrade was required. Having to download a file, extracting it and running the update was a disappointment. Not being able to turn the thing on after such a short period of ownership is a worry and diminishes my confidence in the ongoing reliability of Spark 2. Not good Positive Grid. It now seems to work OK but updating firmware for it to simply switch on is a downer. Too much fancy software? Anyhow, I would recommend the Spark 2 to those who have some IT familiarity. For those who do not, a straightforward analogue amp might be better. Oh, and the Spark 2 does actually sound good especially considering the small speakers. Well done Positive Grid on that score.

El Spark 40 era la mejor compra que había hecho, ahora es esta, totalmente recomendable, al igual que todo el servicio de entrega. Premium.

I wouldn’t know yet
I received a defective product. When dealing with customer service I followed the instructions to return. In the process I was given a shipping label with the wrong name on it. I flagged with customer service and was told I was wrong they were right and to return. I returned product. The replacement item was then sent to the wrong address. I flagged this again with support and say it is my fault and ask if I can reach out to person it was sent to that information I sent was wrong. After multiple messages support finally realizes they read the serial number wrong and has reshipped my product. For all the hassle and waste of my time they offered 5 percent discount code on my next purchase…
