Ascente Viola Set

Ascente Viola Strings

I bought two sets of Ascente Viola strings, and gave one to a student to try. The other is on one of my violas. My set is well-balanced and strong with a lot of ring to the tone. My student has been having trouble with his C string cracking and being unresponsive. He says he is learning how to play it, so it could be that his approach is the problem. We are doing Zoom lessons, so I can't check it myself! The price makes these strings affordable for students, and I am hoping for durability and a long playing life as well.
