Cage Trap - Tunnel Trap

This was my first time using a trap, and it couldnt have been easier. I threw an old bbq cover over it to protect from the weather, put a hessian sack on the floor, and baited with cat food containing sardines. On the first 4 nights I caught 2 cats and 2 kittens! The dog is no longer barking at cats all night, and I am now taming 2 kittens. Oops. We live rurally, so im sure the trap will get plenty of use in future. Very happy with the purchase!

Success Assured

An excellent all round trap. Has caught hedgehogs, feral cats, possums and wekas(released) from day one. Home improvements to the design have been a plywood floor, rubber handles and most useful, a short flexible (40mm long) plasic tube to slide up and lock the two trigger rods, used when placing bait and positioning the doors. This tube is slide downwards to arm the trip when ready

Great for possums

I purchased this trap (which arrived in 2 days) to catch rabbits and pigeons but have had little success. I managed to catch a number of starlings, blackbirds and hedgehogs so changed the "target species" to possums. I didn't think we had a possum problem but using carrot as bait, I have caught 2 possums in the last 2 nights. This is a great trap, easy to set and I have no worries about catching our cats (who actually do a good job in catching the rabbits!)
