Mr. Focus Compressor

This may sound crazy to some. I have a vast array of analog gear. I have found more enjoyment and quicker dialing in of the “sound” I am looking for with Louder than liftoff products. The pricing is perfect for all budgets and the sound is incredible. I have several pieces of equipment from the LTL family that will continue to grow. I have this compressor parked on my RD9. If you are on the fence about any of their products, you are wasting creative time by being cautious. Quick and precise when dialing in. Nothing to over think. Use your ears. I don’t see an option to post my LTL filled lunch box. Chop Shop, Mr. Focus Stage II, and Mr. Focus Compressor complete it. What I would like to see is some void corp products. I only have one ☝�

My First Colours

After much reading I finally settled on a pair of these Mr Focus and I am very happy so far. Having owned a Silver Bullet for a couple of years I was very comfortable with the Mass Driver “A” type sound my Mr Focus came with. What was really surprising was how good the Implode 1176 style colours were. I’ve used them on drum bus mixing, vocal, Soprano and alto sax, acoustic guitar, violin and accordion and implode has performed excellently with just the factory settings. I particularly appreciate how the output level stays more or less neutral when playing with the drive control. Makes it easy to hear increased gain reduction as you push it harder. The other thing that surprised me is how useful the Focus Tilt EQ is. It really is a great approach to the age old feeling we all get when thinking “a little brighter” or “a little darker”

Outstanding Comp!!

I've been using the Implode module. Being able to blend and tweak eq pre/post has made things so much faster and easier. Loved this on Bass and on Cello
