This is THE ONE
I live in a ski resort town at 7600ft and have owned and liked dozens of this basic hat. From the first time I tried this Turtle Fur hat, almost 40 yrs. ago, it's been the overall best. Veery soft and snug but doesn't squeeze your head. Evaporates well and still keeps your head warm when wet. If I only had one hat this would be it. That's why I finally broke down and got two more. The old one goes to the car, it's worn well but is a bit thinner after so many years. One for my backpack and one by the front door.
Great hat for sleeping outdoors. I'd recommend for that alone.

Love the beanie
Really love my beanie — the color (carbon) and the fit. Only downside is how quickly it pills. Fortunately I have a clothes shaver so am able to remove the pills easily.
