does not smell like patchouli

I love love, love pre de provence, have many soaps and hand washing gel and foam. For many years. I was excited to order the patchouli but it is completely different than our other soaps not only does it have a bad smell and not like patchouli, but it also stung my eyes. I used it in my face in the bath.

Best soap ever!

This company makes THE best soap. I've tried a number of specialty soaps, and none can compare. Having scent and lather all the way to when it breaks from thinness is totally impressive. I've used this brand for nearly 10 yrs now. Every once in a while I'll try a different brand, only because it was gifted to me, but I ALWAYS go back to PDP...always! Patchouli has become my BFF of scents. It was Green Tea before I tried Patchouli, although it's still very close. I bounce between these 2 mostly, but other favorites are Milk, Star Flower, and Rose Petal, which I throw in the mix from time to time. If I had to pick just one?...Patchouli, hands down!
