Just did my grips yesterday. Never done my own regripping before. This kit is great. Needed to buy a heat gun ($10 at Harbor Freight) and use some goo gone (grips were very old) and acetone but the kit has everything else you need. The shaft vice clamp is perfect. You don't crush the shaft in the vice and it is secure for the regripping. The hook knife is sharp and went through the old grips like buttah. I checked all the grips again this morning and everything seems to be holding on tightly. It's a great kit to just do the grips yourself and get almost everything you need. Would recommend if this is something you want to do yourself.

The grip kit is exactly what I needed. Tape is good quality and solvent is easy to use with spay bottle.
