These heavy duty light sockets were perfect for a restoration of a pair of antique cast iron lamps. The color of the finish blended with the patina of the lamps and looked as if it had always been a part of thr lamp. Super easy to install and the two-piece screw on base is very sturdy. I love the dimming range of this socket. Very solid, nice click with a smooth range. Looks fantastic on the bronze base that they sell on this website. I made a classy lamp out of this socket for a table lamp with an oversized Edison filament bulb.
