Not Bad, But Not My Favorite
I prefer dark roast coffees but really enjoy trying all different coffees. I have had enough interesting coffees from La Colombe that I am now willing to depart from my favorites and try some others.
The flavor notes were marzipan, Cacao, and Hazelnut. My rating scores in my notes show a low rating indicating that the notes were there, but not very pronounced. I found this coffee to have a pleasant aroma with a slightly sweet flavor, low acidity and very low bitterness. Seemed to have more body than other coffees (I brew in a Chemex with Chemex filters, so I tend to get very clean brews).
I definitely had to decrease my normal (dark roast) grind settings to a finer grind and I settled on a full boil (100 degrees C) kettle setting to get the best flavors to my taste.
I gave this coffee a 6/10 in my iBrewCoffee app but my cutoff for purchasing again is 7/10. If you prefer lighter to medium roasts, this might be a good coffee for you.

Not the best blend I've had. A little astringent. Maybe I'm just too used to Nizza.
