RC25B Remote Control for e255

My 2 year old grandson lost the remote to my S1000db speakers many months ago. The correct remote for this has been unavailable for over a year. I actually ordered the remote I received because I misread the remote compatibility sheet, thinking that it would work with my s2000db speakers only to realize upon delivery that is is for the E225 speakers. However, as it turns out, several of the buttons do work with my speakers. The main control that I wanted was to be able to adjust the volume remotely and this remote does that! So all's well that ends well, but it would be nice if people at Edifier would be more specific about some cross-compatibility between remotes.
