The shape is odd so that it doesn't fit well in a stack with my other similar kitchen supplies. Why not make it round?

I love these colanders. They are durable and hold up for years. Great size for rinsing strawberries or other fresh fruit. Terrific for draining canned veggies or anything you need to wash or rinse off. The holes are a perfect size. I ordered extra to give as gifts.
