Fret saw first use.

Saw is everything you claim. It's a tough little thing too. When I first assembled it I was a bit skeptical about that tiny blade. But, I twisted it to the angle you suggested and it held up great. (I thought it just might go "BOING" with a popping snap). I've cut about twenty joints and am learning.. So far, I haven't gotten below the line on either side (yet), and am getting straighter and closer each time. Great tool and well thought out design. Still using the first blade. Great Fret Saw

I bought this saw to replace another one that I had bought a year ago. The older one was very frustrating in that the blade had trouble holding tension and staying attached. The new one that I bought from Cosman has been excellent! None of those same issues. I should have bought it the first time!!

Nice saw

This saw helped me improve the precision of my dovetail waste cuts. I'm glad I bought it. I was trying to use a coping saw, which doesn't work well at all. I found that you need to get the blade tight. I haven't yet broken a blade, so I guess I haven't gotten it too tight. The tighter the easier it is to cut straight. Like all things in hand tools, there is some technique involved that you will learn as you go.
