I’ve owned many fountain pens before, but will never go back to any other pen (including my expensive Mont Blanc)…By far the best - ink flows from the beginning, no shaking, begging, urging it on, or scratching. Love this set! The packaged presentation is wonderful and the Shadow Pine is a lovely deep green. I ordered the Forest Green ink to go with for my nature journaling, though I will tone it down a bit doing a custom mix with some of the black. It’s a bit too grassy green for my liking. I just love the Ellington Pens. I was gifted one for Christmas and I now own 6 (Two from the calligraphy sets) and two more on the way. I love being able to switch out the nibs based on how I’m “feeling”….some days are thin and others are fancy and broad.
