I dont know what the cologne this is based on smells like but I do enjoy this one! The pepper note is really strong (which I'm fine with). Lasts awhile, too. Sent a bunch of samples along with it, which is nice .. ended up liking one of them better than this one, lol. But, I am pleased with the one I got... Good product! 😸
