Every thing one could expect from a dark roast for espresso. Really top notch.

Great for espresso

The espresso is not surprisingly good for espresso. It's an excellent bean with an excellent roast. The only reason I can't put 5 stars is because I typically use the Ethiopian roast for my espresso and coffee and that's clearly a 5 star. Comparing anything to the Ethiopian makes it hard to give a 5 star

A staple

We have been buying the Espresso beans for a while and its hard to drink anything else! We ran out recently and had to dip into our emergency freezer stash of beans and the difference in quality was obvious just looking at it coming out of the machine. The big bag comes with a hand written thank you note and often a little piece of chocolate which just puts it over the top in terms of customer service touches. Highly recommend
