Works really well on cast iron. Replacing one I've had for a couple years.

Scrubs nicely
This is a great brush for scrubbing dishes. The wood cracked the first day I used it, but I've still been using it, and it works fine. I'll buy it again.

The wood handle cracked on day 2. Followed all instructions so not due to user error.
