Summer Riding

Used in August traveling from Florida to Oklahoma as a swamp cooler with temperatures hovering between 100-108.. Double the gaiter up to create a pocket, then load it up with ice at every gas stop. Cooling effects usually lasts around 2 hours. The material has a good heavy solid feel mid-weight feel, probably better suited for cooler weather. I have a lighter gaiter I typically use for summer and heavier one when temps drop into the 50’s and below. Looking forward to trying it out when the temperatures drop into the 60’s and low 70’s. Guessing it will be just about a perfect for mid temperature riding weather.

It works

Heavier than a normal tube scarf with high quality printing. Works equally well for covering your neck and face or as a layer between your head and helmet. Excellent product at a fair price (although I did get this one free on a promotion).

I have a few of the IR gaiters. This review will go on each I own with a note on the end for the graphics/pattern.

They fit well and help on breaking in a new helmet. I've begun using them recently and I appreciate the benefits. Saving my ears from being ripped off when the new neck rolls haven't formed yet. I'm 6'6'' and I am big. This fits just fine. This was included on the America 250 sale.
