If you are looking for a modern, not too gainy, responsive amp, you've just found the right candidate. The real amps is kind of very flexible/versatile, but BT was able to catch most of the possible range of sound. Compared to the BT100, the sound is more open, mid-focused, and less bassy. This amp is a singing machine in the right hands but can also punch or play slightly into vintage tones. The IR are great too :) i've owned 3 XTC (but not the 20th), and this is the sounds you can expect from those heads.

Great high gain

Nice cleans but the crunch and high gains are great
