Absolutely gripping and well worth the read! If you enjoy the works of James Joyce and Sally Rooney, Somewhere feels at home and yet completely distinct. I find it a hard book to describe as it is not a simple story about a girl or a boy, nor is it a complex slog. Its so easy to read through a chapter in no time at all, but I found myself stopping each time as I needed to sit with what I'd just read. Tear jerking in both it's ups and downs, densely packed yet digestible, I can't recommend this book enough. If you want to read a contemporary book that makes you feel something instead of telling you something, pick up Somewhere anywhere you can.
