When I first started using it I didn’t realise it was hard plastic. I think it’s 3D printed as the spikes aren’t clean cut. I did find it prickly to start with but now I’m a bit used to the feel of it (I’ve had it for a week) I like it. I bought to help distract me from picking/biting the skin on my fingers and it does help if I remember to use it when I start trying to pick. I have picked my skin while using it which seems counterproductive but retraining my brain to completely stop wasn’t going to happen overnight so I’m pleased so far. I would like a softer toy for the times when I want to squeeze something.
