Solid Insurance for Premium Leather. I picked up a jar of Redback Leather Conditioner along with my boots to ensure I had the right care on hand from day one. Redback's 2.5mm oil-kip leather comes heavily saturated with natural oils right out of the factory, so while a brand-new pair won't need conditioning for a good while, ( probably a year for me ) having the factory-recommended blend ready to go is a no-brainer. It's affordable peace of mind for keeping thick, high-grade leather nourished, weather-resistant, and supple over years of heavy use.
