I love the concept, mainly for the thinner side of people.

I love the concept. Brings back memories of being changed when I was younger. If only the width was about 3-4 inches wider it would be better. I’m not a very thin person. This size width would be for those who are very thin. When I lay to get changed I am right against the side walls and my caregiver has a hardtime getting the diaper on.

I’ve wanted this for a looong time.

I pre-ordered this about five months ago and had almost given up hope it would arrive, so I was beyond excited when it finally showed up this weekend. I’ve wanted something like this for decades, so this was honestly a big moment for me. I’ve already had my first real change on it, and it feels amazing. The moment you lie back, the raised sides kind of gently hug you and give that secure, cradle-like feeling. It makes the whole experience feel a lot more immersive and comfortable—everything just feels “in place.” I saw another review mention that the foam was too soft, but that wasn’t my experience at all. For me, it strikes a really nice balance. It has enough give to be comfortable when you settle into it, but still feels supportive underneath you, not like you’re sinking too far. It actually feels really well dialed in. The vinyl is probably the most unique part. It’s on the firmer side—definitely not as soft or supple as those vintage PVC baby mattresses that had that smooth, almost buttery feel to them. This has more structure to it. When you press on it, it holds its shape more and has a slightly stiffer, sturdier feel. It still feels high quality and durable, just not as touchably soft as I was initially expecting. My only real wish, given the cost of the mat, I could order a spare cover or pick up the other patterns separately, because I’d absolutely buy more.
