Phantom Permanent Waxless Glide

These skis were perfect for the backcountry to take to Mount Carlisle Lodge in Selkirks. Snow was fast and so were the skis with Phantom wax. Ski is light, surfs well in powder, edges on the alpine wind blown crust, and is an all around GREAT backcountry ski. I trust it in all conditions.

Phantom works

It needs a little real wax to get optimum glide, but it was pretty good out of the box. I tried it partly out of laziness, partly out of curiosity. Snow conditions were favorable, but still it worked well with no further prep. I did wax after that :)

Phantom Base Treatment

Again, the staff did not disappointment me! Before and after the base treatment was applied to my skis, the staff took the time to educate me on function of the application and what to expect when skiing on them the 1st couple of times after application.
