Sprinter Hood Strut Kit

This kit addition to the Sprinter hood makes lifting the hood so much easier, particularly when you get into your late 70’s or early 80’s. Was very easy to install also.

I love the Hood struts, I installed this kit on my last van and now I’ve hooked up my new van. Just easier and more efficient, if you travel a lot you’ll be filling the DEF a lot. ✌🏽

Must have Sprinter upgrade

As a Sprinter owner, you are constantly under the hood adding DEF. The strut upgrade made this process way simpler. No more manually lifting the heavy hood, reaching across for the metal prop, releasing it from its clamp and inserting it in its slot. With the strut upgrade, simply release the hood latch and gently raise the hood slightly and the struts take over from there. The struts raise the hood slowly and completely. The install was performed by myself, was simple and completed in less than a half hour. I did watch the OWL installation video prior to starting install. Kudos to OWL for the step-by-step video instruction set. Very pleased with product.
